Community & Special Events Calendar
From time to time The Club organizes, or participates in events of other agencies and Clubs, that may or may not be related to hiking, cycling, nature, environment, recreation, or event of other community service, and they will be posted here. If you have an idea for the club to participate in please contact The Club using our contact form. Some of the past events my not be continued because we have a shortage of people willing to engage in their planning, set up and facilitation, so let The Club know if you are willing to jump on board and lead!!!
2022 Community Bicycle Safety Event?
In 2021 The Club, under the direction of Members Ed Nesbit and Christine Huss, worked to receive Grant Awards from the Jeff Roth Foundation and to create, develop and hold a community bicycle safety event to encourage community safe bicycling in collaboration with the Greeneville Parks and Recreation Department, and Wheeled Sports. The process is in the preliminary planning stages for next years event.

2022 Trail Magic Event?For the past decade The Club under the direction of Members Mike & Linda Jones, has organized, coordinated and held a large annual Trail Magic event. This event has encompassed feeding, watering and meeting through hikers from around the world on the Appalachian Trail in the Camp Creek Bald area. It is currently under discussion as to its continued engagement and at what level of club involvement will be engaged in order to hold the event.
