JANUARY:
WEDNESDAY, 1 – 3 Mile, Strenuous, Annual New Year’s Resolution Hike to Margarette Falls. Hardees’s 9:30 am. Trailhead 10 am.
SATURDAY, 4 - Christmas Party and Quarterly Meeting at St. James Episcopal Church Fellowship Hall on Church Street. Bring a covered dish, salad, desert or drink. 5 p.m. Coordinate your dish with Peggy Winfree or Linda Jones if you wish. Bring a gift for the White Elephant Auction. Everyone is Welcome.
SATURDAY, 11 – 2 Mile, Easy, Loop Hike around Beaver Lake in North Asheville. Lunch after the hike at Luella’s Bar-B-Que.Hardee’s 8 am. Mike Church
SUNDAY, 12 – 2.5 Mile, Easy, Double Loop Hike at Panther Creek State Park in Morristown on the Old Wagon and Nature Loop Trails. Hardee’s 1:30 pm, Trailhead 2:15 pm. Brenda Small

SATURDAY, 8 – 5 Mile, Easy-Moderate, In/Out Hike in the Doe River Gorge, along the railroad tracks near Elizabethton. Food City/Bypass 8 am. David Douthat
SUNDAY, 9 – 3 Mile, Easy-Moderate, Loop Hike at Panther Creek State Park in Morristown to Lookout Point via 7 Sink Holes Trail. Hardee’s 1:30 pm, Trailhead 2:15 pm. Brenda Small

SATURDAY, 14 – 6 Mile, Moderate, Loop Hike around Hungry Mother State Park Lake in Marion, VA. Followed by Supper at Pizza Perfect. Food City/Bypass 8 am. Mike Church
SATURDAY, 21 - 5 Mile, Easy-Moderate, In/Out Hike in Rocky Fork State Park on the Rocky Fork and Flint Creek Trails.(Maybe some wild flowers will be out). Food City/Bypass 8 am. David Douthat
